Drawing on the instructor’s knowledge as a communication expert and improv performer - as well as insights from Charles Duhigg’s book, Supercommunicators - this course empowers you to:

  • Embrace the Yes, And… Mindset: Discover how creativity and collaboration flourish when you listen, accept, and contribute.

  • Be Present and Accepting: Learn to engage in the moment supportively and without judgment.

  • Embrace Risk-Taking and Making Mistakes

  • Connect Authentically and Emotionally

  • Use The Four Rules for a Meaningful Conversation*:

    • Rule One: Pay attention to what kind of conversation is occurring.

    • Rule Two: Share your goals, and ask what others are seeking.

    • Rule Three: Ask about others’ feelings, and share your own.

    • Rule Four: Explore if identities are important to this discussion.

*These concepts are described in the book Supercommunicators by Charles Duhigg. We will use them to create scenes and practice communication skills
